This woodworking knife is encased in a wooden scabbard made from Ho wood (a relative of the Magnolia tree). The blade is a hand forged lamination of "white steel" honed to a razor sharp edge. Since the blade is ground with one bevel, it is perfect for marking-out against a straight edge, as well as for carving, whittling and other shaping purposes. The overall length is 7«", blade length is 1- 3/4", blade with is 3/4". Instructions for sharpening are included.
