Work Well for Woodcarving Gouges Too
I bought four sets of these when they were on sale for 50% off. I keep my gouges in a tool roll and I bought these guards in the hopes they would fit over the tips and they do fit very well. Since the silicone rubber is flexible I've been able to put these guards on sweeps ranging from 1 (flat chisel) all the way up to a 9. I'm very happy with these guards.

Great guards, needs more small sizes
I love these chisel guards. I have tried a number of other brands some even more expensive. These are my favorite. That said, there are too many of the large sizes. I have had to buy several sets to get enough smaller sizes for my substantial chisel collection. I now have a drawer full of the 1 inch and 1.25 inch sizes. Most folks don't have large numbers of larger chisels. I would give these a 5 star rating if woodcraft would replace a couple of the larger sizes with more of the smaller ones. In the mean time, anybody need a bunch of large chisel guards? ;-)
