Smile turned frown
Made a great looking pen but unfortunately after using it about three times experienced the issue of the black section above the nib coming loose. I love the look of this pen and have purchased upgrade versions of it. Hoping it is not a cosistant problem. Love the folks at my woodcraft store, great people.

Great Sellermbut lacks quality
This pen is a great seller but the quaity just isn't there. The black plasic piece above the pen tip becomes lose with time which makes the pen difficult to open and close. To fix the problem I can sometimes unscrew the pen and then put the lower part (the side with the tip)in a vice and tighten it. This only fixs the problem temperarily. I have also tried using CA glue but it is hard to do this without blemishing the pen's metal finish.

Good design
Quick to turn. Looks good with a variety of blanks, wood, acrylic.

good kit
I don't make pens to sell but still want top quality for the gifts I make. I still make slim lin pens but for certain people, I've graduated to higher quality because I want them to really last.

Very nice pen kit
This is a very nice pen kit for people who like a little more to their pen. It allows for a little bigger pen and has a great feel to it when finished. It has a very professional look to it. Nice pen kit.

This finished pen will catch every eye
There is always a need for last minute gifts, and this is a great option. This is a simple but smart-looking pen to make for beginners or a quick inexpensive project for the expert. Take your time selecting some choice wood, apply a good finish, and you'll have a nice pen to keep for yourself or give to a special friend.

Consistent high quality
Ive tried various forms of the Wall St from different companies. I find the pen from Woodcraft to be the highest quality and cost has remained relatively constant.

Check nib before leaving store.
First of all, Woodcraft has always worked with me well and am sure they would have replaced this part. The problem was the black shell piece on the nib assembly was loose and would spin when trying to twist the pen to open/close. Since the nib was already assembled, there was not a good way to repair. Ck'd the other Wall Street pen kits I had w/ no problem found on others. I should have returned the part but tried a glue repair which worked but left me with a glue spot on the nib. Decided to just make a new pen for the gift. In the future, will check the nib assembly before leaving the store.

Not so happy with this
I've made a whole bunch of these and 2 that I use have had a problem where the bottom black plastic breaks loose from the area between the tip and the lower metal band. This then makes it difficult to extend and retract the pen cartridge. The solution is to hold the metal band just below the wood which is a huge annoyance. I have also but a dab of super glue on it by putting a drop of super glue on a disposable surface and then getting a tiny amount of super glue on a razor blade and just touching the intersection of the black plastic and the metal band.

Great Pen!
I picked up two Wall Street II pens and have had great success with them. The twist style went together like a breeze. I paired this with a lighter wood (unsure of actual type) and it just looked amazing. The twist is smooth and writes very well. Will definitely be picking up more of these for the future.

Nice Kit
I make these for gifts and promotional items to support my lutherie -- Watson & Blackstone.

Classy Attractive Pen
This is a great project for beginners. There is only one barrel to turn, and assembly is the fastest of any pen I have made so far. You wind up with a very classy looking, hefty pen.

Great kit easy to assemble
No problems
-
Easy project with great results.
Easy construction but 3/4 X 3/4 blanks needed. Two pens from one 5" blank.
-
Wall Street Gold
Easy to make and easy to use.
-
excellent kit
Excellent kit. Similar, but not the same as the PSI Gatsby. Well crafted. Solid mechanism. Shows very well with acrylics. Can be targeted to both male and female users, depending on the finish and the blank used. Gets 2 pens per blank for the economy minded turner.

excellent kit!
This is an excellent pen kit for both the beginner and for the experienced turner. It works well with both quality wood blanks (figured burls are nice) and acrylics that would be considered "high-end looking". It is NOT a novelty pen. Even though it produces a pen that has a "heftier" feel to it, I've found it to be popular with both males and females (depending on the blank). The twist mechanism is smooth and predictable. Overall, it's one of the best for the money that I've seen.

Wall Street II Pen Kit
Uses a single piece blank and assembles easily. Finished product looks and feels very nice.

Wall Street II Pen
I had to purchase Parker ink cartridges because the ones that are supplied with the pen are not good quality. I do this with the pens that I am giving as gifts on both this pen and the Cross type.

I would buy this product again
Friends and customers like the looks and feel of these.
-
Excellant pen choice
A really sharp pen, so easy to turn.
-
Makes a beautiful pen, simple to make
I love the Wall Street II pen kit! It has a simple design, extremely easy to assemble, and I love that it's available in so many different finishes. The Wall Street II would probably bore the advanced turner, but I think it's great for the rest of us.
