As beautiful as it is functional
Got this for marking mortise and tenons and it worked flawlessly. Made my first hand cut mortise and tenon with this tool and it came out perfect. Gotta love high quality tools. I'm a Veritas believer now.

Great tool
The Veritas Dual marking gage is a pleasure to use. This tool makes layout a breeze. It is precise to set-the locking screws hold a small amount of pressure on the bars to they do not slide around excessively under adjustment-and locks down tight. Once the correct set has been achieved multiple pieces can be laid out quickly and consistently. And it feels great to use. The adjustment knobs are right where they should be, and it fits nicely against the workpiece while the ergonomic design is comfortable to hold.
