Like it.
This is an interesting little knife. It's made in China so I didn't have high hopes for it when I bought it almost 10 years ago. The handle on mine is different from the one pictured but the blades are the same. I like this knife for casual whittling projects but would use something else if I was into a serious wood carving project. It does not come razor sharp but you can work it on a strop and get it to be shaving sharp. You may want to keep the strop handy while carving because you may want to hit the strop from time-to-time but that is really all that is needed. It works best for basswood or a soft wood, it will lose it's edge on a hardwood. I don't use mine on hardwoods. All-in-all I really have grown to like this little knife. When I want to pick up a piece of basswood and do a little whittling project this is the tool I pick up.

Great knife!
This knife is great! It is very sharp right out of the box. It holds an edge very well. I love this knife, but the one thing i don't like is that the knife doesn't have any locks. Other than that, this knife is great.

This is a great knife for small whittling projects. Clean look and perfect size.

Nice Product
Nice to be able to carry a carving nice in your pocket safely.

Great knife
I used a gift certificate for this knife and am very happy with it. It came out of the box very sharp but needing a honing as I expected. The blades are well shaped. I have arthritis in my hands and I got the larger model. I has functioned perfectly.

comes with a real nice edge

Interesting little knife
I been making "Whittlin Jim" Boy Scout neckerchief slides for a while ([@]) and have tried lots of knifes. Throughout this process, I have been wanting a good whittling knife I could carry around in my pocket but have always been disappointed. Some knifes just didn't have the blades I was looking for and others just wont hold an edge. (While other knifes were so flimsy that they would not hold up to one carving.) Well, on a whim I ordered this knife and have been pleasantly surprised with the sturdy nature of the knife and the fact it met my requirements. The only thing that I would change about it is the handle which I find to be too short for may hands. (But I see Woodcraft is now carrying a longer handle version of the knife.) I would recommend this knife for anyone but, especially for carvers with smaller hands.

Not bad.
If you expect to carve with this item out of the box you will sad with your purchase. After I put a more appropriate edge on it, I love it. Its handy and great for smaller carvings.

great little knife
I purchased this knife as a gift for a friends son who is an avid woodcarver. It is very sharp right out of the box and appears to be very well made. It is very compact and doesn't feel bulky in your pocket. I may purchase another one for myself.

Nice little knife
I'm just starting out with wood carving, the knife has all the ability of more expensive sets, but with portability.

Quality Knife
Perfect pocket size. Blade took a little time to hone perfect- like all new knives, but now holds a sharp blade for a decent length of time. Highly recommend it to others.

Needed regrind to correct angle for chip
Needed a regrind to correct edge angle for chip carving but comfortable to carve with. Handy in the pocket for idle moments.

save your money
I would not recommend this product. I need a pair of pliers to move the blades. Blades are too cumbersome to be of any use.

it dosent hold an edge

Unique pocket knife for carving
Good price for a sturdy little pocket knife best used for whittling. I like that it folds up like a regular pocket knife so I can take it with me anywhere.
