Poor product
Pro: it is slick and certainly appears tough enough to be long lasting Con: wouldn't stick to wood, even after warming it (per the Tech Support advice) and thoroughly cleaning the wooden surface with acetone then sanding smooth. wanted to use this on some old drawers in a cabinet but ended up tacking it down with brads.

Saved me soooo much $$$$
Like a lot of other reviewers, I used this product as drawer slides. My kitchen was built in 1946. I did not want to replace most of the cabinetry because mine is all solid wood unlike the particle board and contact paper of most current products. I tried drawer slides from the DIY lumber stores and none of them worked without major adjustments and they were expensive ($10-13 each). I took a shot on Slick Strips and OMG!!!! My drawers open and close with one finger- even in humid Florida. I am soooo excited! If you are on the fence about purchasing-just DO IT! You will not regret it.

The Product Works
I have custom built cabinets in our bathroom built in the 1950's. The drawers slid on wood runner and had become very difficult to slide out and in. Had researched putting in expensive drawer guides when I found this product and reading the reviews thought it would be worth a try? First I cleaned the existing wood glides and sanded them, then vacuumed the dust. The tape sticks very well. I also placed a strip on the tape on the middle wood guide. Now the drawers move very easily. I would recommend this product.

Great stuff!
I used it on the heavy teak companionway hatch on my 37' sailboat. Now it slides open and closed like butter!
-
Very useful product.
Great low friction surface to use when wood rubs on wood. You need to make allowances for its thickness.

I buy this product all the time.
I use this product for drawer slides. It works great!

Love it
I am using these to help sticky drawers that are an old design where its wood on wood contact. So far, it has been excellent. Drawers slide like they are on wheels. My only warnings are the tape is stiff, I could not bend it sharply around a corner section and still have the adhesive hold in that area. So had to cut into sections. The adhesive seems good, so far no issues but have not used in a really hot environment. Not used long enough to judge how well it wear.

Slick Strips
i have started using slick strips for drawer slides instead of more expensive metal slides. this way, i have been able to gain in useable interior drawer width nearly an inch and the performance is totally satisfactory. i have to use close tolerances but this is not usually a problem for me.

delivered immediately
The Teflon tape made a support shelf for a very heavy wide-screen TV easy to slide across a table when necessary to reach the backside.

Great addition for sliding jigs
I build a lot of jigs for my table saw that slide. Waxes and other materials just didn't work, but this tape works great. When using, be sure the surface is clean and free of any dust etc. The best adhesion is achieved by using a J-Roller after applying. It would become the ultimate tape if it had an inch scale built in, like a tape measure.

Slick Strips are great
The thin (1/32") strips are great for drawer slides in utilitarian furniture where you don't need fancy drawer slides. The drawers slide easy on these strips and they're durable for a long time. The adhesive sticks very well and lasts a long time. I also use it on accessory fences.

An excellent product with many uses.
Excellent on drawers, heavy or light, that use wooden or metal runners/ guides. Really anytime you have wood rubbing wood.
-

I would buy it again and again
very nice product

Works really slick!
I bought this to help the heavy slide-out table on my McDougall Kitchen Cabinet slide better; and it works beautifully! I put it on all the drawer slides to avoid the wear and tear that normally occurs here. I bought extra to put on my dresser drawers and other kitchen drawers.

Great for use under an old houses drawer
I've only used this product twice and both times it has worked like a charm. Really heavy drawers mounted on wooden runners are hard to pull open and sticky. Just peel and stick this tape under them and they slide as if on rollers. I can see how they would benefit saws, etc. but just have never done that. Good product.

Excellent product
Very slick and holds up well over time. I use it on my table saw fences and any other devise I want ease of movement.

Slick!
I have used several rolls for drawers and on the fence of a table saw (wider version of product). This time I bought 3 rolls to take advantage of the price break. The stickum on one side is really potent stuff. Be careful when you install the strips. I used the wider slick strip on a table saw fence. Good for protecting the fence surfaces. Plan to "stick" the router and band saw fences as well. Check out the wide slick. The "ouch": The value is OK, this cheapskate is down rating the product for this reason.

It lives up to its name!
Its works Great.

Can't beat it for slippery.
Used on drawer bottoms in unfinished pine furniture. It works much better than wax.
-
GREAT
GREAT TO MY TABLE SAW. MY RAIL (SQUARE RAIL) WAS HARD TO USE, NOW THE HAD BEEN A GOOD USE OF MY MONEY. SLIP LIKE IT NEW OR BETTER. USE ON JIGS, GREAT.
-
works as intended
works well hard to use when cold gets very stiff
-
Works well
I used this underneath some cabinet drawers- made them very easy to slide in and out.

Just What the Doctor Ordered
I was restoring a 100+ year old marble topped wash stand. The drawer slides were badly worn. I replaced the slides using hardwood and then added slick strips. Drawer now slides beautifully.

It is working too good
This tape goes on very quickly, using only scissors to cut it to length. The only problem is that it works so good, my wife wants me to do more drawers with it, and I have already placed two orders.
