Love It
It works just as it should.

Works great on Melamine
I used this trimmer to finish the edges of some Melamine shelves I was building for a pantry. It cut cleanly and smoothly. You do have to have a good grip on it and pull down the board like you mean it. A good tool for the job.

fastedge quad trimmer
I tried several ways to use this tool and it tore my banding so bad I had to redo every edge. No matter how gently I pulled the tool it screwed up one edge. I have bought several tools from Woodcraft with no complaints but for the life of me I can not understand why they would stock such a piece of JUNK.

Excelent tool.
You cannot find it to buy in Uruguay

Great for straight edges
I bought this for trimming edge banding on a veneered lazy susan. Worked pretty well on the top piece, which is 18" in diameter. Had a hard time getting it to cut straight o the smaller 9" diameter base. So not quite as useful as I'd hoped, but still quite useful nonetheless. I haven't used it enough to judge the durability of the blade, so I'm reserving the fifth star.

It did the job.
Did not include directions, but was not too hard to figure out. Don't know how long the blade will last. The carbide upgrade is pricey.

Not the greatest.
Woodcraft needs to do a little product testing and instead of just copying and pasting the manufacturers discription they need to use their testing. This product is good for plastic like melamine. It however is not worthy for wooden edgebanding. It tears out the wood edgebanding making it useless. A sharp bench chisel does a much nice job. Sure wish I would have saved the packaging so it could have been returned. I would not recommend this product to a friend unless it was labeled "Not for wooden edgebanding".

Not what I expected
It will do what you need but takes some time to learn how to use. I needed to trim off the edging material and let the ends long so it would trim. However it was bedder than no tool
