Great pressure pot for Resin - Ready out of the box to Use
This is a great pressure pot for resin! I considered converting a paint pressure pot for resin but I wanted something safe and know that I was using a tool created for that purpose. It is so well made and sturdy. It has wheels making it easy to use and store, is big enough to put multiple molds. I use a double tier caddy in it so I can put 4-5 molds in, depending on size. I also bought the California Air Tools compressor and it has worked as a great combination. If you watch the video, that's all you need to learn how to use it. Highly recommend!

Amazing product
I am new to resin casting and was a little put off by modifying a pressure pot. I saved a few more months and was able to get this pot, ready to go out of box, with free shipping. It may have cost me a bit more, but the results were incredible. Opened box, attached casters and was ready to go. First castings (pen blanks) came out perfectly. An awesome addition to the shop. Highly recommend it.

I don't often cast, but when I do, I choose California Air Tools, Stay Safe my Friends!
Disclaimer: I bought my California Air Tools pressure pot elsewhere, either before Woodcraft sold them or I wasn't aware they did. 🤦♂️ And I paid closer to $300 after S/H, no regrets. Just would rather have bought mine at WOODCRAFT for $224.99+S/H 🤷♂ I Chose to buy my pressure pot from a company that builds pressure pots and compressors for commercial use as their main business. My reasoning was a company that is dedicated to making only pressure handling equipment would most likely have a higher build quality which I believed would also translate to a more reliable and safer pressure vessel. So far, I have not been disappointed. Many opt to cut cost and get a 2 ½ gal from a well know discount retailer for about $99.99. The cost is affordable, and size is great for most castings, all this makes it a “too good to pass up” deal, right? Well, it does have one minor flaw, SAFETY! Please do not underestimate this, the quite common practice of converting these low-cost pressure pots to casting pots just isn’t worth the price you would pay if it were to FAIL! Many people must use wrenches to tighten the lids or add vise grips on the lid in between the locking bolts because the lids are not built ridged or strong enough to seal properly on their own. The California Air Tools pressure pots can be “hand” tightened easily to hold 50psig overnight, and then after depressuring, easily opened by hand. Some say the wingnuts are oversized, they are not, they are “properly” sized, get it? The company that builds these just builds them properly. And you only need 35psig for Alumilite Clear, that is it, any more is over kill. Stay safe my friends!
