The WoodRiver® Moxon Vise Hardware Kit is a great way to make one of these extremely useful vises. Often the height of a workbench may be too low for comfort, depending on the task. Building your own Moxon Vise is the perfect way to save your back while elevating your work and hand tool skills. Great for cutting dovetails or mortise and tenon joinery. All you need is some 8/4 hardwood for the jaws to go along with this hardware kit. Make it any size to best suit your needs. General instructions are included with one vise design, but there are many possibilities. Hardware kit contains two 5" hand wheels, two ¾" x 8" Acme threaded screws for rapid opening and closing, four Acme threaded nuts and four washers. Hardwood jaw blanks not included.
