Create spectacular inlays or simply add beauty to defects in wood with Easy Inlay® Mother of Pearl Inlay. It is as simple as filling voids with inlay, sealing with thin CA (cyanoacrylate adhesive), sanding, and applying finish. It’s that easy! Mother of pearl is a versatile, natural mineral used to create many types of inlay. It can be used as is or dyed to emulate a variety of luxurious gemstones, such as sapphire blue, ruby red, jade green and more. You can also mix it into our other inlay materials to add a shimmering translucent chatoyant effect. These grains add iridescent, colorful shimmer to any inlay design, which comes from the inner layer of the shell of some oysters and abalones. Appropriate for smaller inlays, but can be combined with Mother of Pearl Inlay – Flake 1 oz. (#164472, sold separately).
