Amazing Results, not as difficult as I thought
I used this on the top for my computer desk. The material was blue stain pine (aka beetle kill). I knew that the computer desk top was going to have to endure some abuse, so I was concerned about the soft pine getting scratches too easily. Hence, the decision to put an epoxy finish on the top. Prior to this I have never done an epoxy finish. I did a lot of research on epoxy finishes and was concerned about the difficulty and bad results that some people had run into. However, this project came out great. Applying an epoxy finish is kind of like the glue up process. You have a limited amount of working time and you have to have everything ready. Once you start, if you haven't planned well you're in trouble. Fortunately, I was prepared and everything came out great. I'm now working on another desk for my wife. I'm going to use Mirror Coat on that desk top also. Highly recommended.
