    Details

    MirrorCoat is a pourable, self-leveling bar and tabletop coating. It works well on many surfaces such as wood, ceramics, plaster, masonry and some plastics. MirrorCoat cures to a glossy, smooth finish that is scratch and stain resistant. Cured MirrorCoat is waterproof and unaffected by alcohol. Use a maximum of 1 fluid ounce per quart of resin. MirrorCoat hardeners ship as hazardous and will incur additional charges when shipped via air. Ground shipments generally do not have additional hazard charges.
    • 1-1/2 Pint kit covers approximately 4.8 sq. ft
    • You can actually create “floating” objects in your finish by embedding them between coats
    • Perfect for bar and table tops, decoupage, small clocks and crafts
    • Super hard finish
    • Has more depth than any other topcoat

      First Timer with this finish

      This finish is great! The only thing I'd add is FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS! I assumed the plaque I was coating with this finish was level because I assumed my work bench upon which the project was sitting was lever, I didn't check it with a level and the finish was slightly higher on one side after it cured. Also, I was skeptical about using a torch to lightly heat the finish to remove any air bubbles as the instructions stated, but it worked brilliantly!

      get rid of bubbles

      to get rid of bubbles, after each coat go over area with burnsamatic torch. hit it real fast back and forth and that will pop all bubbles

      This application was a fretboard coating for a fretless bass guitar, hard clear glossy surface. Product works as advertised

      Shines Like New Money

      Easy to understand instructions but failed to mention if sealer or what type was required on bare wood. I think a sealer may have prevented the excessive bubbles I experienced.
