Dual mounting options—a magnetic base and a clamp—allow you to use this versatile LED shop light in a wide range of applications. GRIP® started with the light source, upgrading to a single LED bulb, and then made the light head adjustable from a wide to a very narrow beam. Suitable for a wide range of applications, the light is powered by 2 AAA, or it can be plugged into any standard outlet. A very strong magnet permits attachment to any steel or iron surface, or you can use the Accessory Clamping Bracket to fasten it to any surface up to 2-1/2" in thickness. Perhaps the greatest feature is the 14" gooseneck that can be bent in any direction and stays securely where it is pointed.

Great Little Light
I bought two of these from Woodcraft and have been very pleased with them. I use one on my drill press and one at my router table. Both have ample light to brighten the work area I need. I see some comments about not working with AAA batteries but I have never attempted to run them on batteries but use the AC transformer to power the lights. I was lucky enough to buy these when Woodcraft had them on sale and I will be watching for another sale to pick up a couple more for my miter saw and band saw.

2nd light, 2nd review
First, I have to give a virtual 5 stars to Woodcraft customer service. They saw my first review of this product and took it upon themselves to send me a replacement. I couldn't be happier with customer service taking the initiative to fix the problem. I doubt you'll ever get that from the likes of Amazon. However, the replacement suffers the same issues as the first: the light simply does not work with batteries. It definitely seems to be a basic design flaw. The batteries don't seat well, and when you get them in, the cover won't close. And even when you force it all together, the light is extremely dim at best and won't light anything. Woodcraft really needs to just dump this product and get a better designed replacement. Don't keep selling junk.

ok light
Mechanically, this light is fine. the magnet is strong enough, duration of use with batteries is enough; it has been knocked to the floor repeatedly and still functions. I'm just not that impressed with the amount of light produced

Dim Light
I purchased this light, set it up with battery, results not enough light to brighten work piece. Then set up the light using the 110 volt electric, same result. My recommendation pay more and get something that works, do not make this purchase it will not provide enough light to provide the desired or required illumination for wood turning. DAL

Very useful shop task light
I love this little light. I use it a lot at my drill press. The strong magnet allow me to mount it to the side of the drill press and I can bend it around to focus the light where I need it. I mostly use the included power adapter, but I have used it many times on batteries. It comes with a base that allows me to use the light on a wood bench. I will be buying another one when it goes on sale again!

AAA batteries will not operate lamp
Bright light with secure magnetic and screw clamp attachments. Very pleased with all except lack of battery operation--yes, new DuraCell batteries bought today.
