Jointer Blade Honing Diamond Block
The stones work very well on the blades I have and have used it many times. Two things that I have an issue with though with this product. One is the grits are not labeled anywhere on the product. You do eventually figure out which side is which but having that clearly labeled so I don't have to find out and label it myself would be nice. Another is I have found over time while using this sharpener is that the stone itself is not longer than the knife is on the angled side. You can see on the blade where the edge of the stone is and their is a clear edge that you can fell where the stone is not hitting. If they could make the side for the angled part of the blade just a little longer that would be great. Stones work great but the fact that it leaves that little bit of the blade untouched is a bit of a let down from how great this really works.

A few tips could make it mueasier to use
This product looks like it should be very easy to use, but there are NO instructions included at all. Not wanting to ruin my knives I would appreciate at least knowing which grit is installed as received as I think one bar could be 400, the other 600, but I'm not sure. A picture of what the blade profile should like would be very helpful. I can't believe someone at the factory couldn't write up a short list of tips on how to use this thing. I would probably recommend this to a friend if a few clear directions were provided to make using it easier.

Works great!
I had a small nick on my 8" jointer and this helped cure it.

Really does the job quick
When my planer started showing signs of dull blades, I just removed the cover and ran the hone over the blade about twenty times on each side and was back in business in no time. Much easier than removing the blades.
