The Incra® 1000SE Miter Gauge, has all the great features of the popular Incra Miter1000 plus more! The Special Edition adds a stainless steel vernier cursor for an incredible 1/10th degree resolution between fixed steps. The Special Edition also includes a miter fence that telescopes from 18" to a full 30" in length with the new Incra Flip Shop Stop for patented Automatic Positioning Control. The saw tooth rack system instantly controls the length of your cut with Incra's legendary machine shop accuracy as the dual “Flip” arms provide flexibility. The Flip Shop Stop is equipped with three sliding stop rods that operate independently or in tandem for one, two, or three simultaneous stop positioner setups.

Solid, but quality control could use some work!
It was very easy to setup with my SawStop. No issues with the miter bar adjustments, at all. If I could get stars categorically, I'd give 5/5 for the product, 1/5 for quality control because the thing was scratched all over and dinged; though, none of these things impact functionality of the jig.

Disappointed
The bar was bent enough that it protrudes above the saw table top. It is a plain bar, and the manufacturer seems to have made no attempt to straighten it. The screws that secure the plastic adjusting rings in the bar protrude above the bar. I had to file the bar to get it straight enough to work, and had to sand one of the white plastic rings down to get the screw low enough that it does not interfere with a work piece. For a device that touts precision, the manufacturer should take a little more care in fabrication.

Superb miter gauge
This is a really superb miter gauge, suitable for anyone, especially those obsessed with accuracy. It's very well designed and manufactured. The crosshead is easily adjustable left-right in order to clear the saw blade at any angle or when switching between the left and right sides of the table. The only slight drawback is that the front surface of the crosshead is completely smooth. This isn't a problem for a 90 degree cut, but at any other angle cut, the workpiece will slide very easily along the crosshead. I solved the problem by attaching self-adhesive fine-grit sandpaper to the front surface. But don't let this problem deter you from buying this miter gauge. It's really wonderful.

True to Icra accuracy!
If I were to get anymore accuracy, I would have to spend thousands of dollars for a CNC cutter. It's easy to use and set up, plus it is so much more accurate than the miter guage that came with my table saw. Oh the great miters I get now!!!!!!!!!!!

Accurate
Highly accurate. Easy to set the proper angle. There are a couple of drawbacks. The first is that you must use a special tool (included) to make most adjustments. This includes extending the unit to accommodate long pieces. Second, when you make your sacrificial fence, it can't be placed under the stop. The stops will not swing down over the added wooden fence.

Why did I not buy this sooner
Angles have always taken up time and with readjustments waste lumber. Several cabintmakers I know have the 1000se with sled and gave me a demo of its capabilities. Will wonders never cease. I wish they had given me a heads up sooner. Had a slight problem after getting back to the shop the bar, out of the box, had a 32nd bow in the center of the bar. After calling Incra a new bar is in the mail. Great customer service.

Bib Improvement
This was a great investment for upgrading my old Craftsman table saw. I love the flip stop. Makes cutting identical pieces a breeze. I see no reason to keep the old miter gauge.

Why did I wait so long to buy one

Assume Fence
Setup is fast and easy. Once setup, fence is very accurate. Better than most fences that come with a table saw.
