A very nice cabinet door catch
I purchased this item awhile back as extra support for heavy kitchen cabinet doors as the original cabinet maker supplied hinges were undersized and the doors showed signs of sagging. I am very happy with the results. They are attractive and hold the door in proper alignment. I recently added some built-in cabinets in our living room and added the catches to some long doors just for security. In this case I wish they came in white instead of only brass, otherwise I am again, very satisfied.

what I wanted
It was just about what I was looking for. Smoothly opens and closes. Adjustable tension. Nice but inconspicuous looking.

Ball Catch
Very Sharp looking, solid catch. Hold the door securely and the adjustability is more than adequate. Great value.

Work nicely on lighter doors.
Easy to install and worked nice on a recent Entertainment center project I completed. Easy to adjust, probably best for lighter doors.

Good deal!
I needed some door latches for an entertainment center and these were the perfect fit. They latch exceptionally well and the tension can be adjusted. They are made of brass, but are not worked for a polished surface and smooth edges. They are fine as-is, but if you are looking for something jewel like, you'll need to spend some time smoothing edges and polishing. Of course that is what makes parts like these expensive, all the hand work required to clean them up. These latches offer the required utility, and can look great if you spend the time. Install is tricky for a latch of this style, but that just goes with the design.
