Small Bowl Turning with Chad Ishikawa

Description: There are very few as immediately gratifying results in woodworking as watching a rough, angular piece of wood turn into a lovely, smooth bowl all by the touch of a sharp gouge and your own nimble manipulations of it! With our master turner, we'll make what seems difficult to do, easy! Learn the basics of lathe operation, safety, sharpening, and turning techniques and go home with a project you'll be proud to show your family and friends. Note: In order to reduce the spread of germs, students will need to provide their own safety glasses and hearing protection. If you don't have your own, you can purchase these items before class.
