Worth the money
Great face shield, worth the premium price. Comfortable as well.

Bionic Face Shield
I have owned one for 2 years--truly outstanding, comfortable and good visibility.

why would you turn wood without this?
I like the fact that you can replace the clear lens. This is a very safe item to wear while turning

Great Face Shield
My biggest concern was for visual clarity. I tried a $15 mask by 3M and it was a blurry view. When working on a lathe and doing intricate work, I need to see clearly. This one does it well and worth the price. Also very lightweight, but seems to be durable. Also fits very well with my glasses on. It has adjustments in the hinge to place the mask further or closer to your face.

Great product
General shop use, I should have bought this before I damaged my eye.
-
Well made and comfortable
This face mask is a great upgrade from my 30-year old face mask, which is no longer recommended for turning on the lathe. It is safer, much more comfortable, and fits really well, thanks to the adjustable headband.

Fantastic product
Have not used many face shields, that being said....this shield is fantastic. It offers really good coverage, not just eyes of course but face and neck. It is light weight, extremely clear and very adjustable. It is very comfortable to wear and easily adjustable. No fogging, has plenty of room for glasses and face mask. All in all, the manufacturer has made it really user friendly. Can't imagine not wearing one of these while turning.

Every woodworkers #1 must have item
This product offers excellent eye protection while not restricting visibility. In its construction makes you feel well protected against the small and large projectiles coming off a would turn. I only learned about this product from my nephew who had a severe accident with wood flying from a table saw. Woodcraft should widely promote this product.

Best Face Shield
Got this shield for wood turning. Best face shield I have ever used.
-
Good face shield
I have only had this face shield a few days but I like it a lot. It was easy to assemble, and taking time to make adjustments for fit goes a long way. Especially if you are like me and wear a baseball style hat as well. I do not understand the comment or review that complains about the smell. It is plastic, yes there is an odor. But nothing unusual or over powering. If you are concerned about it, let it sit out for a day or two and let it kind of air out. Beyond that, I like the fit, it is nice to use the lathe without getting pelted in the head with chips and dust. I have always worn safety glasses, but the full coverage of the shield is much better. It stays up when you want it and overall I am very pleased.

Wisest purchase to make!
I had a 1/2" jacob's chuck come off the morse taper and fly right into the face shield. Upon examining the scuff mark on the shield, it would have nailed me under my left eye. I would have had a broken eye socket and cheek bone if I didn't have my Bionic Face shield on... Those other wood turners that don't use a face shield are utter morons.

Good visibality
good visability but the smell is horrific it must be the material that smells vile
