The WoodRiver® Dust Connection™ 4" Aluminum Blast Gate Dust Collection Fitting allows you to close one branch of your central dust collection system while you are using the other. Simple open or shut design has flat, steel plate that moves inside a 2-sided die-cast aluminum frame to provide a pass-through or shutoff to connect your dust collector to your system or a branch line to one of your tools. 4" (outer diameter) ports on each side of the gate with an aluminum housing and steel gate can stands up to years of rugged use.

    Now had knurled knob

    The blast gates I got today have knurled knobs, I see that the reviews from 7 years ago say they need a wrench. Must be Woodcraft has updated the item. It would be helpful if both sides were pictured. They seem to be the same as the ones I got from Acme Tools last year, those work quite well.

    They work great and I love being able to take screws out to mount them in different ways to fit what I need.

    slightly modded

    This gate works without issues once I replaced the small bolt that hold it opened or closed with a thumb screw; much easier than running for a wrench every time I needed to make a change.

    Aluminum blast gate

    I was dissapointed by the small metal screw for securing the gate open or closed. I am used to these gates coming with a plastic knob.
