Good starter set
I bought this set as a beginner scraper set and am overall pretty pleased with it. I've mostly used it for cleaning up rough areas and removing glue from joint edges. I have primarily used the 2 smaller scrapers. Aside from burnishing the larger one and testing it on some scrap wood, I've not used it. The 2 smaller ones have served me well. The only issue I have is that they seem to lose the hook easily, requiring me to reburnish them. That's quick and easy though, so not that big a deal. I'd definitely recommend this set for someone looking for a decent starter scraper set.

Does what it's supposed to.
I am new to scrapers, but this was square and ready to burnish out of the package. I turned a bur on one edge and after a false start and a little practice, I was scraping away. I have only used the large one so far. I think they will work fine. I went online and found several videos to learn how to sharpen and use them first.

Great Set
I have used them a lot. If you have a burnisher file and sharpening stone you can put a razor sharp edge on them in no time. Having the proper sharpenig and burnishing tools is a must if you want to use scrapers effectively. If you are getting saw dust and not shavings time to file polish on a stone ( I use red), and burnish a hook.

new to scrapers
I had never used a cabinet scraper before and recently read an article in Fine Woodworking about them. I decided to try them because the price was right [...] Let me first say, "Awesome." They work faster and better than sandpaper, are a LOT cheaper in the long run and add almost no dust to the air. They're even faster than using an orbital sander. These are only useful for flat surfaces, but do come in three sizes convenient for a wide range of surface widths.I would recommend these to just about anyone unless they have arthritis because they can be a little rough on the hands and fingers... especially until you are used to them.
