Sturdy But Tools Fall Out
I have purchased & use 5 of these 25 pocket heavy duty canvas tool rolls for my Pfeil carving gouges. They are very sturdy & work well in that respect. My issue is that the gouges constantly slip out, even when tightly rolled up, if the roll isn’t held perfectly horizontal. A flap needs to be sewn along each lengthwise side to keep the gouges from falling out. There’s nothing worse than chipping a gouge from its fall & now having to often start regrinding it to bring it back to working condition.

A good alternative to leather
I found this roll to be a great deal for the money. Its construction appears sturdy yet light enough to make it easy to carry along with other tools. I have just started to purchase a collection of professional grade chisels and gouges and really like how it fits. I gave it four stars vs. five only because I haven't owned it long enough to really test how it stands up to heavy use and how it will fare over time. Overall, I'm very pleased with the product.

Good quality tool roll
A very nice tool roll. The canvas is heavy and the sewing appears to be good. The size is perfect for full size Pfeil carving tools, and larger than most would want for Flexcut palm sized tools.
