Increase the versatility of your dust collection system or replace missing or worn out accessories on your existing shop vac or dust collector. WoodRiver® Dust Connection™ 2-1/2" Hose End Fittings allow you to set up a dust collection system for benchtop tools using your shop vac, or use the 4" to 2-1/2" reducer and outfit your 4" system with a 2-1/2" hose and accessories. Union fitting is required to connect hoses together, or to other fittings.

    Wrong dimension on fitting

    The description for this fitting should say 2-1/4 inch as that is what it is. Unless you read all the notes that is not clear. Now I have to order two 2-1/2 inch unions plus shipping so I can connect to my cyclone lid and shop vac hose.

    A must have for custom length hoses

    Fashoned a duct collection system using a shop vac. Flex hoses w/these connections allow for implement movement, and easy removal of the shaving collection barrel.

    Works very well, but easy to break

    This fits well and does the job it's designed for. However, the plastic is brittle and if you step on it while moving around your shop, it will easily break.

    works very well with black hose

    These fittings work extremely well with Woodcraft's black hose #128687. The threads fit so well and so tightly that a hose clamp is not needed. In fact, the black hose can be put on so tightly that it is almost impossible to remove from the fitting. That said, the fittings work but not nearly as well with the Woodcraft's clear hose where a hose clamp is definately needed.

    Excellent Item

    This fitting neatly fits the end of the Woodcraft 2 1/2" hose, and fits nicely into most 2 1/2" attachments I have and my Shop Vac. It's such a good fit a hose clamp is not always required.
